January 21

I couldn't resist the gorgeous colors of this sunrise.

January 20

A beautiful sunrise.

January 19

There isn't anything to say about this picture except my check engine light is on.

January 18

Jackie thought she was going to run into me so she let go, screamed, and rode the four wheeler right into the mud. But it's okay, I didn't leave her there!

January 17

Just some angry clouds.

January 16

The Boy Scouts built this tower. And what goes up must come down!

January 15

Time Expired!! You have to pay to park at our house! Just kidding!!

January 14

Welcome to the Kaplan house!

January 13

A Day In the Life as Space Lava!!

January 12

Lucky now likes to sleep under the covers with us. He will paw at the blanket until you pick it up for him to get underneath. When he is ready to lay on top of the blanket, he stands up and waits for us to pick or move the blanket for him. Should I say SPOILED!

January 11

The icicles today were even bigger!

January 10

It was 30 degrees when I took this pictures at 8:00 in the morning! I love icicles!!

January 9

While walking around behind our pond, I found this low lying area. It had bright green grass growing in it while all around it was brown, dead or dying grass and plants.

January 8

This was pretty much an uneventful day. The oranges have started dropping out of the trees due to the cold and not being picked.

January 7

This morning it was 24 degrees while I was outside taking pictures. I have to take advantage of the cold and ice because it doesn't happen often! This picture is focused on some plants by the pond with the pond, mist, and sunrise in the background.

January 6

It was 27 degrees this morning when I got up. I looked out and saw all the ice and had to grab my camera and run around the yard taking pictures. This was my favorite picture I took this morning at 7:00 AM.

January 5

Lucky Fred posing with "Danger Dan the Flying Duck." Anytime he sees my camera, he gets excited. He's very photogenic!!

January 4

This little stray kitten was trying to stay warm by sleeping in the sunlight.

January 3

I was shooting in the backyard with Andy and Scott. This is a picture of Scott after shooting.

January 2

We went riding Saturday, January 4 in Ona, Florida.  This is a picture of Andy playing around.

January 1, 2010

This picture is from January 1, 2010 after all the fireworks were over.  We picked everything up and threw it in the fire.  It was a wonderful evening spent with great friends and making new memories!

Sorry!

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything.  I got so busy at work with Rudolph Round-up and other activities that I was too tired to do any type of crafts.  I even bought a few cards because I didn't have the energy to make them!!!!

In case you are wondering about Rudolph Round-up, it is an event that starts in November and ends in December.  I work for a non-for-profit company called Kids Hope United.  We do protective services (dealing with abused, neglected children).  Our lead agency and other companies throughout receive donations.  The children we have in foster care or relative/non-relative care write down three wishes and we try to fulfill at least one wish off the list.  This ensures that each child gets at least one thing they asked for!  Makes for a very busy month once the gifts start arriving at our office!!  But it is a wonderful feeling.

As for my New Year's Resolutions, I am going to be posting random pictures here.  I plan to take a picture everyday this year.  I call it Project 365.  Please let me know what you think!

The following pictures are from work.  Each unit served snacks one day.  My unit chose the theme "Sweet Treats."  We had veggie pizza, fruit, brownies, cupcakes, and mixed veggies.

I made the cupcake decorations for our Unit.

I made the Gingerbread House and Man to decorate the door to my office.

I even had Santa on my door!
